Since we will not have continued use of our meeting space in the Chamber of Commerce throughout the summer months, we have decided to hold programs in members’ homes. Our Summer Program has been very successful over the last 3 years, and hopefully that will be the case this year.
The first meeting will be at Jan Heuman’s home where the UUSCC library is housed. It will give participants an opportunity to become familiar with the library. Bill Danek or Arch Bush, our former librarians, will be invited to speak to the group. The group will decide how best to formulate the summer meetings. Oscar will have a sign-up sheet at the next general meeting.
We are proposing that we schedule our summer meetings to start at 2:00 p.m. on the following 8 Wednesday’s: July 10, July 17, July 24, July 31, August 7, August 14 August 21, and August 28. This will also allow for people who wish to have some vacation time. We also can consider whether or not there is interest in going out to dinner after our meetings. All of the above is open for discussion, so please feel free to contact me.
